Peacock 30th Anniversary Cake

I was SO excited to get this order, I have been wanting to do a peacock cake for a long time!

Here is the peacock himself, he had purple wings- my camera doesn't like to pick up purples for some reason.

This peacock is even more unique because he had a tail of ROSES!

Love the effect they give cascading down the cake!

These roses were fun to build with the changing colors. The middles were a gorgeous purple, I've got to figure out what is wrong with my camera & purples.

Superheros Tiered Cake

The Hulk, Spiderman, Batman! For when the birthday boy has LOTS of favorite heroes!

Spiderman's Mask

The hulk! (My camera doesn't pick up purples, but the border was purple here)

The baby shower colors were pink, yellow, & lime green.

LOTS of ruffles

I'd love to do more ombre ruffles, these were fun even though they took forever

Pink & Teal Owl Cake

A first birthday cake, with pink & teal (and a bright green accent)

Just the flowers on the top tier looked too plain, added a little pattern to mix it up.

Close up of the monogram and flower

Rice Krispy Treat & fondant owl. Made in white then painted to match the cake.

Coordinating Smash Cake for the birthday girl.

Fondant-free smash cake.

Beach Sunset, Wedding Cake

This non-traditional wedding cake is the first cake I have ever delivered by boat to the island wedding venue! I love the bride's commitment to a colorful cake- it was a bold choice that I think paid off!

The cake was bright & beautiful all the way around!

Marshmallow Fondant shells in several colors, brown sugar & icing "sand", sugar pearls, hand painted cake with grasses & flying birds.

Added a little extra white at the top to go with the sunset heart topper (also hand painted) & completely edible.

Girly Farm Cake

A little piggy smash cake for Lilli's first birthday party. She has removable ears and bow, everything else is buttercream (to prevent any choking hazards).

Piggy cake with one of the dozen pig cookies ordered.

These little cuties were fun to make, a whole herd of piglets.

The official cake for the birthday girl, complete with pink barn!

MMF barn, animals, and flowers. Yellow cake, buttercream icing.

A little more detail of the rooster, grass, and flowers.

Happy Birthday Lilli!

Pink and Silver, Simple Elegance Wedding Cake

I was thrilled to receive and complete this wedding cake order.
Pink Velvet Cake (to carry the pink theme to even the inside of the cake), buttercream icing & piping, and fondant ribbon.

The more simple the cake design, sometimes the more challenging the cake. Because the bits that are there need to be as good as possible, nothing to cover mistakes!

The bride's colors were pink and silver. Piped the design with grey icing and painted with silver luster dust.

Some more of the scroll work.

Congratulations to the Newlyweds!
